ANOTHER YEAR OF REGIONAL COMPETITION
Past weekend was another year of competition for the Alberta Region for the Professional Photographers of Canada. Was allowed to Submit 4 images. I usually only compete in 1-2 classes but this year I spread the entries over 4 classes. Portrait, Animal, Pictorial/Floral and Fine Art. Very pleased to receive 1 Merit and 3 Accepted. Not sure I will have to look back but this might be the first year to get all 4 images with an accepted or better score. Very happy with how the images did. Now to make some tweaks and see if they will work in Nationals in February!
Couple of weekends ago we our annual image competition for the Professional Photographers of Canada Alberta Region. I will admit that I didn't give this year as much preparation time as I usually do. I submitted 2 images that I submitted to Nationals in February "X marks the spot" and "Old Timer". The received a Merit and Accepted respectively at Nationals. Those 2 images received a Merit. The other 2 images I submitted received Accepted. The were "When you're Lucky and you know it" and "Dark Road". Back to client images and looking for entries into National in February 2024
