Cosplay Photography

I am the first one to admit that I don't know much about cosplay other than seeing posts on social media with everyone dressed up as their favourite characters from movies, games, podcasts and the list goes on. I have been fortunate enough to meet Phoenix as he was looking to capture some images of his costumes. First costume was Kotori Minami. Our latest session was Taako. I have found it very interesting to learn about all the various characters from Phoenix and search on the Web. This type of Photography makes you think of the end product as there will be photoshop required to place the character in a different backdrop as I gain knowledge of the character and the cosplayer. This genre is refreshing and nice challenge.
